I just recently bought a 9 stop screw in ND filter for my 70-200 zoom, I love it. There's a slight colour cast but I quite like it and getting rid of it is easy anyway. I'm now thinking about making a filter holder for my Tokina 16-28 as this lens doesn't have any thread :(
